The beautiful coastal town of Skerries has only gone and won its first ever Tidy Towns Award! Skerries has been entering the competition since 1959, so needless to say all involved are delighted.

The core principle of Tidy Towns is “Make your place a better place”, and it’s great to see Skerries getting some well deserved credit. For anyone looking to make the most of the last little bit of warm weather we’re getting, you’d do worse than spinning up to North County Dublin for the evening.
